Melanie and Will’s wedding at The Cordelle in Nashville balanced minimalist design with a hint of vintage glam. I began with their letterpress invitations, which had a beautifully tactile, high-end feel with those unmistakable deep impressions — the perfect starting point for their crisp black-and-white look. From there, we carried the design through every detail of the day. We created a simple, modern monogram that appeared on the belly band of their invitations, cocktail napkins, martini glass toppers, and programs, while their menus, and table numbers followed the same clean design approach to keep everything unified from start to finish. To complement the couple’s modern style, we incorporated acrylic elements, including a black welcome sign with white lettering and frosted signage throughout the venue. The result was a timeless black-and-white wedding design that will truly never go out of style.
